Tell President Biden: We need a vaccine plan for children

We look forward to the time when all children can return in-person to school and their lives can regain a sense of normalcy. In order to ensure that happens, the federal government must prepare now.

That's why we've told the Biden Administration that we need a plan tailor-made for children that will require adequate and planned funding, an effective distribution process, and a public education campaign.

Will you join us and demand that the Biden Administration create a plan to ensure all children, once eligible, can be vaccinated as safely and easily as possible?

We urge the Biden Administration to create a comprehensive national plan tailored to the specific needs of children.

Such a plan would:

  1. Make vaccines available at child care facilities, schools, community health centers, recreation centers, youth sports venues, and other places where children spend their time.
  2. Engage doctors and nurses; priests, imams, and rabbis; school teachers, principals, and anyone else trusted by parents, grandparents, and caregivers as advocates for protecting children from COVID-19.
  3. Reach out to immigrant communities, including with translation of materials into the top 15 non-English languages spoken in each state.
  4. Adequately fund these efforts, among other strategies.
