The Children's Budget Summit 2022

For over 15 years, First Focus on Children has tracked the share of spending allocated to children in the federal budget.

This year’s report is filled with exciting findings, including analysis of new areas such as environmental health, increased support for education, child protection, and nutrition programs — as well as a rise in the overall share of spending for children for the second year in a row.

Unfortunately, Children’s Budget 2022, also uncovers some worrisome warning signs of what’s to come if Congressional champions do not remain committed to children.

Join us on Thursday, October 6 at 1 pm ET for a virtual briefing and be the first to learn the details of this year’s findings.

Office of Management & Budget Director Shalanda Young will also join the virtual event to discuss the federal budget’s impact on children.

Participants who register will be added to a virtual room for Q&A with the book’s authors & receive a copy of the report.
